Ecuadorian attorney Hugo Echeverria of CDER was a recent guest. He shared the history of the rights of nature movement and its role in protecting our planet. He has served as an important voice of nature within the Ecuadorian courts and legislative system, arguing against its exploitation. He was able to express the progressive acceptance of the rights of nature since the Constitution of Ecuador recognized that nature has rights in 2008.
