The discussion of the rights of nature is now being examined in a lunar context, with a feature on the work being done by CDER’s Executive Director Mari Margil, Thomas Gooch, founder of the Office of Planetary Observations, Dr. Michelle Maloney, Ceridwen Dovey, and professor Alice Gorman, who together authored the Declaration of Rights of the Moon, which extends natural rights within our existing solar system.
