Watch the recording of our September webinar on the rights of nature movement in the Philippines. We were joined by National Coordinator Yolanda Esguerra and Attorney Mario Maderazo of the Partnership Mission for People's Initiatives (PMPI).
PMPI is a coalition of faith and community-based groups that are leading a campaign to advance the rights of nature at the national and local level in Philippines. We have worked closely with PMPI on drafting national rights of nature legislation, which was successfully introduced into the Filipino Congress in 2019.
