Thomas Linzey to Keynote the 2025 Green Conference

On November 20, CDER's Thomas Linzey will keynote the 2025 Green Conference hosted by Green Korea United. The focus of the conference this year is the Rights of Nature. #rightsofnature

Thomas's keynote talk is titled "The Movement to Recognize and Enforce the Rights of Nature."

He will trace the beginnings of the Rights of Nature - beginning with how he drafted the first Rights of Nature law in the world - and how his work has led to building of a global movement. As more laws are adopted, Thomas will also speak about cases to enforce the rights of nature on behalf of ecosystems and species.

Partners Linda Sullivan of Northern Ireland, and Natalia Greene of Ecuador, will also present.
