Harvesting manoomin (wild rice).
Rights of Nature, Tribal and First Nations Learning Session
The Repatterning Collective and Kincentric Leadership are hosting a learning session: Rights of Nature, Tribal and First Nations.
The session will feature Frank Bibeau - the Center for Democratic and Environmental Rights’ Director of our Tribal Rights of Nature Program- for a discussion on the rights of nature and the leadership of Tribal and First Nations in advancing this movement.
Frank will share his groundbreaking work, bringing the very first rights of nature enforcement case in a tribal court, and advancing the first “rights of species” law - the White Earth Band of Ojibwe’s "Rights of Manoomin" (wild rice) law.
Join us for this free event on Wednesday, June 10, at 12pm Eastern Time. Register and reserve your spot today at this link.
