Rights of Nature: Global Movement, Indigenous Values
The International Affairs Forum at Northwestern Michigan College will host “Rights of Nature: Global Movement, Indigenous Values” on Wednesday, April 15th.
Two members of the Center for Democratic and Environmental Rights (CDER) team will present: Frank Bibeau, Tribal Attorney and Director of CDER's Tribal Rights of Nature Program, and CDER's Ecuador-based attorney Hugo Echeverría.
The event is on Wednesday, April 15th, beginning with a reception at 6pm Central Time, followed by the program at 7pm Central Time. The program is in-person and will be live streamed.
The event will be held at Dennos Museum Center Milliken Auditorium, located at 1701 E. Front Street, Traverse City, Michigan.

Free admission is available for current students and educators, including NMC and area secondary schools, and all enrolled citizens of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
